This is a nice, quiet waterfront community. Please be respectful of the neighbors.

Within walking distance, be sure to check out The Sweet Shack (8 minute walk, 0.4 miles) 2 blocks away, and Dudley Park (11 minute walk, 0.6 miles; river beach, access to the locally popular railroad trestle, playground, volleyball, horseshoe court, bocce court, BBQs, picnic tables) across Route 9 (be careful crossing!).

About a 9 minute drive (4.7 miles) to bay beach and boardwalk in quaint town of Ocean Gate.

25-30 minute drive (without traffic) to the ocean beaches: Island Beach State Park (16 miles), Seaside Park (14 miles), Seaside Heights (14 miles), Ortley Beach (15 miles), Lavalette (16 miles), etc.)

32 minutes (25 miles) to Point Pleasant Beach

30 minutes (24 miles) to Long Beach Island

Toms River Park and Ride bus station is a 13 minute drive (8.8 miles).

There is a Wawa 1 mile away, and a Super Walmart 1.5 miles away.

It's recommended to have a car to get around. Plenty of parking here on site in the driveway and also on the street.

**** EASY COMMUTE FROM NYC ****

From Port Authority in NYC, simply hop on NJ Transit bus 319 or 137 for a nonstop, direct trip to Toms River Park and Ride in about an hour and 35 minutes for about $20. Cabs are there waiting (or Uber) for a 15 minute drive to the home. Bus Schedule can be found on NJ Transit's website.

Pets- Pets are typically not allowed. However, consideration will be given on a case by case basis and the pet fee would be $300/pet at a minimum.

Please BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. Bath towels are provided but are NOT to be taken to the beach. :)
